About Jerry
I'm Jerry Collins. My wife, Ellen, and I have lived in Grand Blanc for over 25 years and raised our kids here. Our son graduated from Grand Valley State and now works with the US Olympic Handball Team in Colorado Springs. Our daughter graduated from Grand Blanc High School and is looking into her next adventure. I joined the Al Serra team in 2018 after owning an ice cream shop, "Jerry's Big Chill," for seven years and 15 years managing MC Sports. I believe in honesty and having an enjoyable buying experience for my customers. I pride myself on making sure my customers are making the right choice. I genuinely enjoy talking to people and building relationships. I am a big outdoor lover and sports fan. My team is the Pittsburgh Steelers. I love to coach and give kids a positive learning experience in the game they love. I have coached Little League, youth football for five years, soccer for 11 years, and the JV Softball team at Grand Blanc High School for the last eight years. Speaking of positive learning experiences, I was also a long-term substitute teacher at GBHS. Hopefully, I made a difference in my students, "YAY, MATH!" Stop by Honda of Grand Blanc.
